LAS VEGAS - The 15th edition of the Las Vegas Bowl, which is an ESPN Regional Television (ERT) owned-and-operated event, will be played Thursday, Dec. 21, beginning at 5 p.m. PST at Sam Boyd Stadium, executive director Tina Kunzer-Murphy announced.
The game will once again be shown nationally on ESPN and ESPNHD. Ticket information is available by calling (702) 732-3912.
The Las Vegas Bowl, which increases its payout to $1 million per team this season, for the first time will feature the champion or first selection from the up-and-coming Mountain West Conference vs. the fourth-place team from the powerful Pacific-10 Conference.
Last year's game drew both record attendance and television ratings as California defeated BYU in a 35-28 thriller.
